In Ireland

how are u? that's how the Irish greet everyone. it's that or "are u alright?" haha. i've no idea how that came about but that's the way they greet people. the people here are really nice and friendly. strangers smile at u and some of them even greet u. u don't get to see this kinda thing in Singapore. haha.. think they'll think u're weird or something back home.
the scenery here is FANTASTIC!!! there are greens everywhere (that's why they are called the Emerald Isle). cows, sheeps and horses everywhere! elizabeth and i took some or u can say a lot of photos around Ireland where i am staying at.
i actually think we're very fortunate to be staying with a couple of husband and wife cos they brought us around to see the local sights and bring us to events that they go to. they try to include us in almost eveything they do. it's really heart-warming. and their friends, which is actually the pastor and his wife, treat us very nicely too. in the 2 weeks i'm here, i've seen countless of hot air balloons which is very rare in Ireland, not to mention Singapore. and.. get this, i'll be going to a french fair and a horse fair sooon! the horse fair will be attended by horse lovers from ALL OVER THE WORLD! and the horses will be everywhere. u can see some of the pictures when u search Ballinasloe horse fair in Googles. it's quite a sight and i can't wait to experience it!
elizabeth and i were being excused to go to Dublin with the European students and i feel that i'm really very anti-social. haha.. din really want to mix around. or i'm shy to. i've no idea. but elizabeth helped to break the ice for me with them and we became quite good friends with 2 Bulgarians girls and a Hungary guy. the 2 girls are pretty and the guy is quite gd looking, and we kinda hit off. haha.. but i'm not thinking too much here. so don't u guys be thinking too much. hahaha.
i think i'm really going to overspend alot of bling bling here cos there are just oo many things that catches me eyes! and.. to top it off. they're prices for clothings and food are the same back home. BUT, it's only the numbers that are the same. so when u convert back to S$, it'll be double the price, which kinda sucks. but i don't really eat much out here maybe because of the home-cooked food by the Dobbie family (oh yeah.. that's the last name of the family i'm staying with).
alright i think i've said more than enough here and u guys are tired of reading. i shall post some other messages some other time. hopefully in due time i'll be able to post some pics here and let u guys see it.
so long...!!!
