back again

I'm now back again after a 5 months respite. haha, it's more like laziness. well, once again, i have things to get off my chest so here i am. Finally i was out of Singapore and away to Italy for abt 10 LOVELY days. it was Fantastic. the buildings were great, what with the ancient history in almost all their buildings. The food was fantastic too. Never eaten such delicious pizzas in my whole life, same goes for the pastas too, and i have to say, even the "fast food" retaurants serve al dente pastas and near to perfect pizzas. And i most definitely miss those food. think you can practically see me drooling. darn, i've forgotten to take some pics of the pizzas. haha. but, whatever, since it'll be in my memory for months to come..... LOL. i got to go Italy for the week cos my cousin met and Italian while working in Australia and got married. Perfect chance of going to Italy. haha. Free accomodation!!
My cousins and i visited Venice, it was beautiful! too bad the gondolas were expensive so we didn't get to take a ride in it. Verona was my favourite town cos of it's very old history. Went to the Arena, where the gladiators fought, but was kinda disappointed cos there was a stage set up in the center for a performance the following day. so was not able to capture the whole feel of the arena. we also visited another town, Udine, it's very near to where i stayed, Pordenone. Udine is so small, we used up abt half a day to finish the whole town. it was very cool. Overall, i only regret not going into any of the castles and palaces. darn it. :p
Well, as i am a girl, of cos i am on the look out for guys, especially the cute handsome ones. hahaha. i met one. but.. he's not an italian, he's a german. and he's really cute looking, polished, gentlemanly and funny. and smart. he's a friend of my cousin-in-law. oh yeah, my cousin-in-law, is very gd-looking, but his brother, is darn gd-looking. hahaha. back to topic, both of us were being sabotaged to baci (i'm not sure if i got the spelling right, it means kiss in italian) cos bot hof us were single and my cousin was trying to play match make. It was ok. haha. didn't feel anything cos maybe was too shy. haha. well. and the following day he had to go back to germany cos of work, so he got my email add from me and my other cousin. but you know what, i forgot to get his email!!! can you believe how blur i am? and i didn't even realise it til late at night. sigh. so now, all i am doing is waiting for him to gimme an email so that we can sorts like "talk". anyway, before he left, he gave me a kiss on the cheek again. hahaha. was kinda surprise by it. haha. cos my cousin and her husband was calling out baci. and was happy of cos.
Anyway, i can't wait to go back to Europe cos i was not able to visit my italian friend cos of the distance and lack of time. darn it. so the next time i go, i'm sure to visit much more places: London, France, Italy, Bulgaria (maybe) and Germany(if me and the german is in contact by then). hahaha.

Hibernating for a day.

yesterday was a slping day for me. reached home at about 0000hr and slept at about 0130hr. woke up at abt 0430 to pee and went straight back to sleep. (3 hrs)
the other time i woke up was at 1330hr, felt i have slept too much and got up. (9 hrs) washed up and ate lunch.
abt 1 & a half hrs later, i went back to slp and only woke up at abt 1830hr. (3 hrs 30 min)
this time round, i was very awake. woke up. looked around for dinner. keep thinking about pizzas. have a craving for them now, think cos it's nearing my mens. but cost too much for delivery and too lazy to walk to Heartland Mall, so ended up gorging on the leftover Ben & Jerry's and a half finish pack of instant noodles. after dinner, did my nails (which i was too lazy to add on a top coat and so some of my nails' colour are destroyed.) Flipped the tv channels and not much is on. Boring! so i played my sudoku x.
oh! my sis finally got me the Phantom of The Opera! Love it. But only managed to listen to 1/3 of it cos it was getting late (0030hr) and i needed my slp. so i fell aslp at abt 0100hr. and woke up at 0830hr today. (7 hr 30 min)
So this all adds up to: app. 21 hrs of slp that lasted over the period of 2 nights. haha. but this isn't one of the longest that i've slpt. but i feel really refreshed! woo. haha

p.s. for those who used to see me online, my modem died on me. so u can't see me at all. wait til i bought a new modem. until then!

haha. i am happy! the cute guy i was talking abt, the aussie guy? he talked to me! and i mean he initiated the talk. hahaha. the convo was something like this.
AL (cute guy's nick): aren't you freezing here? it's so cold.
AL made the freezing action with his shoulders scrunched and hands warming his arms.
FTY: you get used to it.
FTY pondered *aren't u aussie, not used to cold?*
FTY: where are you from?
AL: australia.
FTY: arent u suppose to be used to the cold?
AL: well. yeah. but not from indoor.
FTY: ahhh.
FTY laughed a little and AL grinned and walked away as his transactions had finished.
